Every panel comes fully assembled, with each slat securely attached to the soft felt backing and ready for installation. The panels can be easily cut on site, allowing for unique combinations and total customization.
Each panel also has sound dampening properties, reducing echo in any room and making your space feel finished, comfortable, and welcoming.
The panels come lacquered with a clear satin or matte finish for long-term durability and a warm, natural tone.

- Each box contains (2) pieces that fit together seamlessly to create one 94.5"x23.62" panel. The tongue-and-groove design of the panels allows them to be installed side-by-side, creating one, uniform slat wall with no vertical seams or gaps.
- To install, simply place the panel(s) in the desired location and drill through the felt into your desired surface. From there, the panels are only as permanent as you want them to be - they look like they were built-in from the beginning, but come down in seconds if needed, with virtually no damage left behind.
- Behind the wood slats is 0.38" PET felt, which is made from recycled water bottles and 100% recyclable. This backing holds the slats permanently in place, and makes installation a breeze.
Domestic USA orders ship from our facilities in Pennsylvania. Canadian orders ship from our Toronto location.
Most orders of the 8' panels ship via courier mail.
Large orders, and orders of the 9' and 10' panels ship via LTL with liftgate servce and curbside delivery. Tracking is provided. The carrier will contact you in
advance to schedule a delivery window. Signature is required for LTL deliveries.
Tracking information is provided via email for all shipments after the shipment is processed.
Orders are processed and shipped within 3 business days unless otherwise noted. We ship to all contiguous states and all Canadian provinces.
What do I need for installation?
For installation, you will need a drill and any appropriate fastening hardware. For example, if you're mounting into drywall (rather than studs), you'll want to purchase drywall anchors with the appropriate screws. Please note screws are sold separately.
Can the panels be installed on curved surfaces?
Yes, the acoustical felt backing is flexible, so the panels can be installed vertically on curved surfaces with a radius of at least 18".
Can I cut the panels?
Yes, absolutely. The panels are easy to cut using a handsaw or a circular saw. Simply measure twice and cut once!
Can I hang a TV from the panels?
We don't recommend hanging a TV directly from the panels, instead cut out a gap for the TV mount and mount it to your wall as you regularly would. From there, you can install the panels around the mount before hanging your TV from the mount.
How do I wash the panels?
The best way to wash the slats is with a well-wrung cloth or duster. If you ever want to clean the felt between the slats, simply use a vacuum.
What happens if my order arrives damaged?

We accept return requests within 14 days of delivery. You must notify us via email at info@thecarpentryshopco.com within 14 days of your order being delivered if you wish to return it. You must send us an email containing your order number and the tracking number for your returned order within 14 days of delivery to be eligible for a refund. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
Your order must be packaged and delivered securely, in its original packaging. You are responsible for all shipping and insurance charges involved in returning your purchase. If you choose not to insure your package, you will be responsible for loss or damage. Any damage that occurs during return transit may affect refund eligibility. We recommend selecting a trackable and insured shipping service to help protect your return shipment.
Samples are not eligible for returns or refunds, but their cost is refundable if you place an order containing at least one (1) Willow Panel, Paintable Panel, Fluted Wood Panel, Exterior Panel, or Room Divider.
Before your refund can be processed, we must receive your order at the address provided to you. In addition, your order must be in new, unused, and resalable condition to receive a full refund. It cannot have any holes, marks, defects, or any aftermarket alterations that would affect its retail value. If the product has been used or damaged, you will not be eligible for a refund. Your refund will be returned to the same credit card or PayPal account you used for your purchase.
Once your order has been received and inspected, if it is free from any damages or signs of use, your refund will be promptly initiated. You will receive a notification via email as soon as the refund has been initiated. From there, please allow 5-7 business days for the refund to be reflected in your bank account.
