DIY Pergola Kit for a Freestanding Pergola With Canopies - Any Size Up to 24' x 24'

When ordering a pergola kit from us, your order will include the following:

• All pergola brackets* are included with the specific kit that you purchase
• 1.5" pan (round) #10 self-tapping stainless steel wood screws for securing wood into brackets

*IMPORTANT NOTE: Depending on the pergola kit you order, it may or may not include a roof, privacy wall(s), side railing(s), or corner support brackets. Most pre-configured kits include at least one upgrade. But if you purchase a base kit, you will need to add these optional upgrades separately.

What is NOT included with my purchase of a pergola kit?
 

Wood. Wood is a) very expensive to ship and b) readily available to most people at local home improvement and building supply stores. By buying your wood locally, you also have more options on the exact type of wood you'd like that is appropriate for your area's climate.

Anchoring Hardware. While our pergola kits do include stainless steel wood screws for securing 6x6" wood posts into the brackets, they do not include anchoring hardware for securing the base brackets into a secure base (i.e. cement pad, deck, landscape toppers, concrete footing, etc.) or a permanent structure (i.e. your house). This is because the anchoring hardware you need will vary based on a) what type of material you're going into and b) local building codes.

MAINLAND USA: Shipping is free for all orders delivered to a mainland USA address.

CANADA, PUERTO RICO, ALASKA & HAWAII: We are happy to ship orders to any of these locations, but additional charges will apply. Please add an item to your cart to calculate shipping costs to your location.

ALL OTHER LOCATIONS: Please contact us before ordering for a custom quote for your location.

We try our best to ship all orders within 5-8 business days. On rare occasions, shipping may take longer. We will notify you by email if this is the case. You will receive a shipping confirmation email once your order has shipped.

All orders will ship via UPS or USPS. Shipping times can vary based on location, but most items will arrive at your doorstep within 14 days of placing your order.

I WANT TO CANCEL MY ORDER: If you decide you want to cancel your order before it has shipped, we can cancel your order with no penalty and issue you a full refund. 

MY ORDER IS DAMAGED OR HAS DEFECTS: If your product appears to have been damaged during shipping or looks like it has any defects, please contact us so that we can send out a replacement part. We may ask you to send us pictures of the item before a replacement part is sent out.

I WANT TO RETURN MY ORDER: If you would like to return your order within 30 days of receiving it for any reason other than damage or defects, penalties will apply. We will issue you a full refund for your order MINUS the cost to ship it to you originally, MINUS the cost to have it shipped back to us and MINUS a 25% restocking fee*. If you still decide that this is the course of action that you would like to take, please contact us so we can send you a return shipping label with an affixed RMA number. Refunds will not be issued if you return the item without contacting us first as returns are often sent to a different location than the one you received it from and require an RMA number to be accounted for correctly.

*Pergola brackets are large, heavy & made of powder-coated steel. If each piece is not packed with sufficient bubble wrap and tightly packed with the other pieces in the shipment, it is very likely that the paint will scratch and/or chip. Refunds will not be issued if returned items are damaged due to insufficient packaging.
