The leaves are falling and the colors are changing. October is here, which means Halloween is right around the corner. For some, this is a time to celebrate, while others may find the holiday stressful.
As I think about October, I always reflect on life's natural transitions. Some are enjoyable, and some, are dreaded. Nonetheless, they occur.
Just like the leaves falling from the trees, we too, go through changes. Some may be big, some may be small. But each one is a chance to grow and learn.
So as October comes, take a moment to reflect on the changes you've experienced over the past month. And if you're feeling up for it, embrace the change that is yet to come.
As I look at my girls, I see how quickly they are changing and developing. While this is exciting, the mom in me sometimes longs to hold time still.
But just like the leaves, we must keep moving forward. So let's enjoy this month in all its glory. Let's savor the pumpkins and the crisp autumn air. And let's celebrate the changes that make us who we are.
